Miranda Huddleston
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)
Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)
Miranda Huddleston is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Brain Sciences from University of California, Santa Barbara as well as a M.A. in Clinical Psychology. Miranda has a clinical style that is light-hearted and relational. She strives for therapy to feel like a bit of fun mixed with a bit of work and wants her clients to feel that they have a safe, judgement free zone to express themselves. One of her goals is to help clients get to know themselves better and work towards a life they wake up excited to live. She works with clients to build coping skills, explore identity and build healthy routines. She is supervised by Hannah Morris, LMFT.
Miranda has gained experience working in residential settings, primarily assisting adults diagnosed with severe mental illness in building coping and independent living skills. In this setting she provided individual/group therapy as well as hands on interventions aimed at helping clients navigate independent living. She has experience collaborating with individuals with a history of homelessness, substance use issues, anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia. She likes to work “where the individual is at” and let clients take the lead on their own.

PathPoint’s Counseling Center is part of the organization’s Behavioral Health Services and offers outpatient care for members of the community seeking professional support with their mental health. Founded in 2015, the Counseling Center serves clients with a wide range of backgrounds, diagnoses, demographics, and lived experiences. Clients have the option of visiting our physical office space in downtown Santa Barbara for in-person sessions or connecting via our secure telehealth platform for virtual sessions.
Miranda has experience working with individuals in the Medi-Cal system and in residential and case management settings within community mental health, serving largely underserved populations. Her perspective strongly aligns with Arielle’s Light’s mission—she believes therapy should be accessible to everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status, and that compassionate care should never be limited by financial barriers.
