Fuerte Therapy

Fuerte Therapy is Amanda Fuerte’s private practice, offering trauma-informed, virtual therapy across California. With a focus on high-functioning adults, Amanda creates a safe and supportive space to explore healing from trauma, stress, and shame. Her approach is rooted in compassion, connection, and deep clinical expertise.

Amanda Fuerte, LCSW, is a dedicated trauma therapist with over a decade of experience serving underserved and marginalized communities. She spent 12 years as a child welfare social worker, working closely with children and families navigating poverty, housing instability, systemic barriers, and generational trauma. That work deeply shaped her clinical approach—one grounded in humility, empathy, and a strong belief in empowerment and access.

In her current role as a school-based clinician, Amanda provides culturally responsive care to students from immigrant families and low-income backgrounds. She is intentional about creating safe, supportive spaces for youth to process their experiences while honoring family dynamics, cultural values, and identity. Her work centers on reducing stigma, building connection, and making mental health support feel accessible and welcoming.

Amanda was drawn to Arielle’s Light because of its unwavering commitment to removing barriers and ensuring no one has to face their mental health struggles alone. With a passion for increasing access, normalizing mental health conversations, and supporting youth through inclusive care, she’s honored to be part of a mission that reflects the heart of her work.
